Previous Work
The first novel I had published was actually the third novel in the Immortals
trilogy. I explain how this happened in the introduction for Scars. (You can read
about it here.)
I found out that Worlds Without End was being published before the first two
books in the trilogy about 1/2 way through writing it. A lot of what I had wanted
to do in that book was changed by in-house decisions at FASA regarding the
Shadowrun and Earthdawn lines. I also knew I was writing a book that might
upset some Shadowrun fans.
If you click on the cover you can order Worlds Without End (on the cheap, too!)
and even read some of the reviews of less-than-happy Shadowrun fans.
These are the French Editions of the Immortals Trilogy. The cover art for Scars and
Little Treasures are different from the German Editions, though how Flueve Noir
managed to get the Scars cover art even after ROC had cancelled the Earthdawn line is
still a mystery.
The covers from the German editions of the Immortals Trilogy. Perhaps its just me, but
every time I see the German edition cover for Scars (which I think was also the cover for
a previous Earthdawn module) the first thing that pops into my head is, "Hey, it's totally
Narben, dude." Hmm, maybe it's funnier not to say that aloud.
they reversed the cover art for this edition. I can't decide if It makes me like it better.
More to come . . .
A big THANK YOU! To Áron Gajárszki who sent me a copy of WWE in
Hungarian.
