I'm a writer and editor in the gaming and science fiction field. I've been at it for twenty-five years, which means I started as a toddler. Yes, I was precocious.
In that time, I've published three computer game hint books, three novels, and several short stories in the Wild Cards universe. Most recently, my essay, Power and Feminism in Westeros, appeared in Beyond the Wall: Exploring George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire edited by Jim Lowder.
I've been called the Queen of Snark. I'm still waiting for my damn tiara.
My most recent work, "Lies My Mother Told Me" appeared in the World Fantasy Award winning collection DANGEROUS WOMEN edited by George R.R. Martin and Gardner Dozois.
It's a Wild Cards story set in New Orleans featuring Hoodoo Mama and The Amazing Bubbles.
It's a wonderful collection with many well-known authors. I'm listed on the cover as "& many more." I'm totally thrilled.
